Territory Foods Meal Service Review

Today is the first day of 2 of trying a new meal delivery service that offers Paleo and whole30 approved meals, called Territory Foods. There was a pick up location near my house so I opt out of the delivery. I ordered grilled salmon with cauliflower rice and broccoli, beef eggplant lasagna, moroccan chicken with cauliflower rice, turkey meatloaf with carrots and broccoli for 10.95 each.

I’ve got to say I’ve been pretty impressed with these meal services with their healthy and clean eating foods! This one doesn’t disappoint either. The portions like model meals is good for me. Ingredients are listed on the container and the meals I had today was delicious. It was so good I want to learn to make these meals. The vinaigrette for the salmon meal was sour and savory. It paired well with the meal. The eggplant lasagna was just as amazing if not better. I’ve got to say I’ve started to miss lasagna and pasta so I was so happy when I had this for dinner. The only downside is that half the meal was fat (oil and cashew cheese) so my stomach feels a little uneasy. Still I would eat it again!

The pros: tasty meals, recyclable container, fair price, reward program, discount

The cons: you can’t order per meal, I think it’s at least 2 meals

If you want to try Territory Foods here’s $25!

Model Meals 2nd Day Review

I finished the last 2 meals today for Model Meals, a meal delivery service that delivers clean eating meals! See my previous post for the details.

Today I had the meatballs with chimichurry sauce and sweet potato mash for lunch. It was good although the beef was a bit tough and I don’t like sweet things so the sweet potato mash was okay. Not bad- I wouldn’t mind eating it again. For dinner I had this al pastor mushroom taco with celery root as the wrap. It was so spicy, for me anyway and the green sauce was so sour. I think I put too much but why did they give me that much if I wasn’t supposed to use it all, was my logic. I didn’t even taste it first. 😅. I had to put my own savory sauce I made a few days ago to counter the sourness. But the celery root was interesting. I’ve never had that. It was the consistency of radish, the one you have at Korean BBQ. But it was not pickled. It helped balance the strong spicy and sour flavors. There were no meat pieces but this is not a vegetarian dish. Yesterday’s meals were better if you were to ask.

So my overall experience with Model Meals has been positive. I got to try new foods and ingredients and the portion is spot on.
